We assist families applying for shelter to relocate back to the community. FREE services available to qualified households include:
- Housing placement services
- Legal services
- Tenants’ Rights Workshops
- Financial Literacy Courses
- Third party mediation
- Community referrals for supportive services
- Public benefits advocacy
If you are homeless or fear you may become homeless, call one of our offices within your community. Or call 311 and ask to be connected to the nearest homelessness assistance program.
A special thanks to the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS). The majority of our funding is through the DHS Homebase program, which is a nationally recognized homeless prevention model and finalist for the Harvard Innovations in American Government Award.
