Stories of Success

We combine a variety of services to ensure community residents stay in their homes and avoid homelessness. FREE services available to qualified households include:

  • Legal services
  • Emergency rental assistance
  • Public benefits advocacy
  • Third party mediation
  • Tenants’ Rights Workshops
  • Financial Literacy Courses
  • Community referrals for supportive services

If you are homeless or fear you may become homeless, call one of our offices within your community. Or call 311 and ask to be connected to the nearest homelessness prevention office.

A special thanks to the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS). The majority of our funding is through the DHS Homebase program, which is a nationally recognized homeless prevention model and finalist for the Harvard Innovations in American Government Award.
